 FREE CARNIVAL  organized by Ola Latina, Bar Latina & The Tottenham Carnival

This new Latin American area will include this year, international music and dance Guest Artists from Venezuela and Colombia, authentic Latin American music and dance by local Artists and folkdance groups, a big Latin dance tent offering free lessons in all Latin American dance styles, Latin music DJs, stalls offering food and drinks, Latin American arts and crafts and more, plus Latin American floats from various countries, adding colour and vibrancy to the Tottenham Carnival Parade earlier in the day. We will also be celebrating 'Inti Raymi', Festival of the Sun and the Andean New Year.

The main attractions will be  Venezuelan Salsa legend vocalist Luis Felipe Gonzalez - a legendary Latin music
figure from the 70's and 80's in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela,  the US and Central America. His hits include the world Salsa hit 'Londres'  and a special performance by current 2007-2008 Salsa dance world champions Jhon Vasquez & Judy Aguilar direct from Cali, Colombia, as part of their UK 2008 Tour.  If you missed them last year, this is your chance to see these masters at work, on the other hand if you had the chance to see them last year, you already know that they are truly amazing and will no doubt come to see them again!!!

Carnaval Latino del Norte’ – will truly be a Carnaval within a Carnival.
